Tracy Tran
DDS.
Dr. Kimdung Tracy Tran – her patients usually call her “Dr. Tracy” – attended UC Davis for undergraduate study of biochemistry, where she was awarded Regent Scholarship and nominated to be a candidate for the University Metal at graduating year of 1997. She was then admitted to UCLA School of Dentistry in 1998 and graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2002. She achieved an outstanding award in Oral Pathology at the time of graduation. Dr. Tracy is currently a co-owner at Edenvale Dental Group in San Jose, where she practices general dentistry, implant dentistry and selective orthodontic treatments. She and Dr. Andrew Nguyen opened Ticket to Smiles in November 2017 with the focus in pediatric dentistry, together with a large variety of other aspects of dentistry for everyone. Prior to this establishment, Dr. Tracy had completed hundreds of hours of post-graduation training/ continuing education in orthodontic training, implant surgeries/restorations, and oral conscious sedation for both adults and children. She also devoted her time to get familiar with the newest advancements in cosmetic dentistry as well as soft tissue and bone grafting techniques. Dr. Tracy is currently a standing member of the American and California Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She is often active in the meetings and symposiums dedicated by these organizations. She has the mindset goal of being able to excellence her skills as a dentist; and in the meanwhile genuinely cares for the well-being of her patients. She always strives to find the appropriate and feasible solutions to each of her patient’s dental problems.
Andrew Nguyen
DDS. MS
Andrew Nguyen is a graduate of UCLA School of Dentistry where he completed his dual training specialty in both Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. Dr. Nguyen’s primary interest is in child growth and development and served with the UCLA Craniofacial Team for three years. He currently retains hospital privileges at: The Children’s Hospital Dr. Nguyen continues active research at UCLS in biomaterial sciences, bone biology, and oropharyngeal fungal infections.

Truly amazed DR. Andrew never in my 35 years of life that I have ever seen a dentist with so much knowledge and information to give. Since the moment that my children came in they were talked to like little adults which was a huge plus because they are the patients at the end of the day. The staff at this location really took the time to get to know my children and to teach them the importance of good hygiene. Dr. Andrew was very detailed and walked us through everything that he was doing. Unfortunately the female Dr. (I feel bad that I didn’t catch her name) isn’t as talkative but she still does a great job. I have so much more good stuff to say but I’m just going to end it by mentioning that they won my kids over with the prize that they got at the end. Once the kids are done with their appointment they get a token that they use to get a small toy from their vending machine. Very clever! Best of All… They have an open door policy and you can be with your child while he/she is getting treatment done. Awesome!

My daughters and I have been coming to the Tooth Fairy Cottage for about 5 years now and they are the BEST! As soon as you walk in you are greeted and it really feels like you are at the Tooth Fairy’s cottage (if it existed). Crystal at the front desk ALWAYS makes sure that our appointments work with my schedule. My kids actually LOVE going to the dentist. All of the doctors and dental assistants are very friendly and we are treated like family. My daughters usually visit with Dr. Andrew. He is great with them and makes sure that we are all comfortable. I always hear from people that their dentist is really good and I get recommendations all of the time BUT sorry…The Tooth Fairy Cottage is, hands down, the best dental office. Oh, I almost forgot…the kids get these “Golden Coins” as a reward and they get it use it on the toy dispenser in the lobby. Schedule your appointment now before they get booked up!
